The Symposium will take place at the Cozumel Convention Center, Quintana Roo State, Mexico. The mailing address is: Cozumel Convention Center, Avenida Rafael E. Melgar, San Miguel de Cozumel, Q.R. 77600, Mexico

Selected hotels, to be defined, will offer attractive plans for attendants. A special touristic package will be prepared for accompanying persons.

Cozumel is included in UNESCO's World Network of Biosphere Reserves, because of the Mesoamerican reef system that covers 22 km in Cozumel, with abundant marine biodiversity and white sand beaches. The large coral banks, home to a rich and varied marine flora and fauna, are an ideal place for diving.

In addition, the state of Quintana Roo and the Yucatan Peninsula offer a great variety of cultural expressions, such as world-class archaeological sites, colonial cities, renowned popular crafts, natural beauties, beaches, jungles, culinary diversity and, highly appreciated, the warmth and welcoming characteristics of its people.

How to get there

1) Cozumel International Airport has service from Mexico City (Interjet, Volaris) and from some airports in the United States (Miami, Atlanta, Dallas) although not on a daily basis.

2) Cancun airport has two options to connect to Cozumel:
